Face Data Summary
Synthexa provides AI image and AI video features that may process photos containing facial information. Face data collection, use, disclosure, sharing, storage, and retention are explained in Section 1.2 Face Data, with related details in Section 2 (How We Use Information), Section 3 (AI Processing and Service Providers), Section 4 (Sharing and Disclosure), Section 5 (Data Retention), and Section 8 (Your Choices and Rights).
Synthexa ("Synthexa," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how long we keep it, and what choices you have when you use the Synthexa iOS application and related services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 User Content
When you use Synthexa, you may provide content such as text prompts, uploaded images, selected styles, generation settings, task inputs, feedback messages, and generated outputs. Uploaded images may contain personal information, including facial information about you or other people appearing in the image.
Synthexa currently requests access to your photo library so that you can select images for AI creation and save generated images or videos back to your device.
1.2 Face Data
When you use AI features such as AI image generation, AI video generation, image-to-video, style transfer, or face-related effects, Synthexa may process images that contain facial information. We handle face data as follows:
- What we collect: Images you upload or select that may contain your face or the face of other individuals, together with related prompts and task parameters needed to perform the feature you request.
- How we use it: Face data is used only to create the AI result you requested, such as an edited image, generated video, motion result, or face-related transformation. We do not use face data for identity verification, facial recognition, profiling, or advertising targeting.
- Disclosure and sharing: We do not sell face data or share it with data brokers. Face-containing images and related task data are processed only on infrastructure we control and on servers operated by our development team. We do not send uploaded photos, prompts, or face data to any third-party AI service.
- Storage: Face data may be stored temporarily on your device and on infrastructure we control while your requested AI result is being generated and delivered. We do not store face data on third-party AI platforms.
- Retention: Source images that may contain face data and are retained in active processing storage are automatically deleted within 7 days after processing completion, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to resolve an active support, abuse-prevention, security, or legal issue. Generated outputs and task records may remain in your account history until you delete them, request deletion, or we no longer need them to provide the service.
Face data collection, use, disclosure, sharing, storage, and retention are explained in this Section and further described in Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8. You may request deletion of your face-related content at any time, and we will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal or security exceptions.
1.3 Account, Session, and App Usage Data
Synthexa may create an anonymous app account so the service can deliver generations, task history, credits, and subscription status. We may collect or generate information such as an internal user ID, session and refresh tokens, app account identifiers, subscription status, credit balance, task IDs, timestamps, and usage records related to requested features.
1.4 Device, Diagnostics, Analytics, and Attribution Data
To operate, secure, improve, and measure the App, we may collect technical and diagnostic information such as app version, build number, bundle ID, device model, iOS version, locale, time zone, screen characteristics, carrier, storage metrics, network or service logs, and similar technical metadata. We may also collect advertising or attribution identifiers such as IDFV and, where permitted, IDFA or similar ad attribution data.
If you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, we may use limited event and attribution data for advertising measurement and analytics. If you decline tracking, the App will still work, but some attribution or advertising functionality may be limited.
1.5 Purchase and Subscription Data
If you purchase subscriptions or credit packs, Apple processes the payment. We may receive and process information needed to verify the transaction and unlock entitlements, such as product IDs, transaction IDs, subscription status, plan type, purchase timestamps, and updated credit balances. We do not collect or store your full payment card number.
1.6 Support and Communications
If you contact us or submit in-app feedback, we collect the information you provide, such as your message content, related task ID, complaint type, app version, and associated account or device information needed to review and respond to the issue.
1.7 Permissions
Synthexa currently uses the following iOS permissions:
- Photo Library access: to let you choose images for AI creation.
- Photo Library Add access: to save generated images or videos to your device.
- Tracking permission (ATT): to enable ad attribution or personalized advertising features where permitted by you and applicable law.
Synthexa does not currently request camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location access in the version covered by this Policy.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- provide AI image and AI video generation, editing, preview, saving, and history features;
- process user-uploaded content and return requested results;
- maintain anonymous user sessions, credits, subscription status, and purchase records;
- detect abuse, misuse, fraud, failed jobs, and security issues;
- troubleshoot performance, service failures, and support requests;
- measure product performance, attribution, analytics, and service health;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. AI Processing and Service Providers
Synthexa provides AI-based creative features using models and processing infrastructure operated and controlled by our development team. When you choose an AI feature and submit content, your prompts, uploaded images, technical task parameters, and result-related metadata are processed on our own servers to generate the result you request.
We do not send your photos, prompts, face data, or other user-generated content to any third-party AI service. AI image and video generation is performed on infrastructure we control.
Other service providers may receive limited non-content data needed to operate the App, such as:
- Supabase for backend functions, authentication, storage, and app infrastructure;
- Cloudflare Stream or related media delivery services for certain video upload, streaming, playback, or delivery workflows;
- Meta / Facebook for limited analytics, event measurement, and advertising attribution where permitted by your tracking choices;
- Apple for in-app purchase, subscription, and payment platform services.
We only process content for AI generation when you intentionally use a feature that requires that processing.
Important: Synthexa does not sell uploaded photos, prompts, or face data. We also do not send uploaded photos or prompts to Meta / Facebook for advertising targeting. Meta / Facebook receives only limited event, attribution, or measurement data where permitted by your settings and consent choices.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: with vendors, processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, media delivery providers, and payment-related partners that help us operate the App and provide requested features. User photos, prompts, and face data are not shared with third-party AI processors;
- At your direction: when you request generation, save outputs, submit feedback, or otherwise instruct the App to process or transmit content;
- Legal and safety reasons: if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud or abuse, protect rights, or address safety or security issues;
- Business changes: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable confidentiality and privacy protections.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share uploaded images, prompts, or generated content with unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for different periods depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected:
- Source images that may contain faces: automatically deleted from active processing storage within 7 days after processing completion, unless reasonably necessary for an active support, security, abuse-prevention, or legal matter.
- Generated outputs and task history: retained for as long as needed to provide your history and result-access features, until you delete them, request deletion, or we determine they are no longer needed.
- Purchase and subscription records: retained as necessary for entitlement verification, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
- Feedback and support records: retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond to, document, and improve handling of the request.
- Analytics, attribution, and security logs: retained for as long as reasonably necessary for service measurement, troubleshooting, security, legal compliance, and abuse prevention.
You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at pnguyenthuytien7391@icloud.com. We will review and process deletion requests within 30 days, except where we must retain certain records for security, fraud-prevention, financial, or legal reasons.
6. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, including where our providers or infrastructure are located. When we transfer information internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data remains protected in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Photo Library access: you can change photo permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
- Tracking: you can grant or deny tracking permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and in iOS Settings.
- Generated content and account data: you may request deletion of generated outputs, uploaded content, and related account data by contacting us.
- Feedback and support: you may ask us to delete support submissions unless we need to keep them for security, legal, or operational reasons.

9. Children's Privacy
Synthexa is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and delete the information where appropriate.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
